This may sound like a dumb question but I am mounting my 1st bobcat and was wondering at what point in the tanning process should I degrease it? Thanks.

After its been thoroughly pickled - remove it - drain it for 30 minutes - do some light touch-up shaving and then before you put it back into the pickle, put it into your degreasing solution. If you use our Rittel's Super Solvent (#SS-618) for degreasing - soak it for 30 minutes, rinse, and put it back into the pickle overnight. The next day or weeks later - pull it, rinse, neutralize and tan it.
