Are you just starting out? How many heads are you planning to do? If you're only doing one head order the kit. You'll find that if you price everything out separately in a catalog it will be $30 - $40 more than with a kit. The reason is they send you larger volumes of materials. You will, however, get a good idea of the materials you will need so if you plan on doing more heads, you'll know what you should order. Just stay away from dry preserve kits.
