What is the best and/or easiest way to add some snow, and a wet look to a head mount to appear to be in a light snow storm? I don't plan on using a habitat panel or base, just your standard wall hung head mount, but want to give the piece a little bit more interst. Thanks for your help. Andy

I'm one of two people in the world who doesn't save my old issues, but I know it was in an issue with a bull elk YEARS ago with step by step instructions of mixing artificial water droplets and snow. One of our resident librarians will know, I'm sure.
Epoxy applied drop by drop from the end of a toothpick or other thin applying device for the tiny droplets. Rivulets may be added by careful brushing on small amounts of epox with a fine (number two brush).
I would suggest adding the "snow" a bit at a time by either spraying glue through a small hole cut in a paper mask, or by brushing with fabric adhesive and Blowing on the snow with a soda straw.......Remember, the epoxy is where you put it, and you need to plan each stage carefully. If a stray drop falls where it is not wanted, it may be removed with goof off, by soaking the area until the epoxy drop will slide off the encapsulated hairs. Severe spills need to be removed with a product like "Attack" or MEK.
I hope you find the issue that George is talking about. Until then, experiment of scraps until you are sure of your technique.....Some things are better learned at hand than read about.
