Some of you might know me from chatting or from the forum but i just wanting some opinions. I just got my new web page up and going, im still working on it but its up, and i was wanting some input on some of my mounts so I have posted pictures of several of them on the page. I am a beginner and have only been doing taxidermy for about a year and a half. Im working on my fist deer mount now but all ive done so far are ducks. Any advise or opinions on my work would be of help to me. Thanks for looking. www.geocities.com/mklgns/ducksplus.html

duck,
you should be proud of your work, as i am sure you are. you have a good eye for the realistic, as well as the dynamics and balance of animals in motion. the water scene looks very realistic!
but.... the welcome blurb on your page has typo's that don't come across as very professional.(your I's need to be all caps, and your "im"s should have an apostrophe within them). the pintails neck is either too long or the wings are set too far back. also, i dont think a "hooded" flys with his hood flared, but i am sure that this is mounted often this way to diaplay the full beauty of the species.
good luck. it appears that you will be an asset to the profession!
