I am (finally) building a shop. There are tons of swamp coolers available in my area and I would like to know if they would do any damage to skins or mounts. any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I ask because DP hides will cause problems with all the humidity being introduced to the air. A tanned hide probably won't show any effects since swamp coolers are a desert anamoly where there is ZERO humidity to contend with. Mounts look best that dry slowly anyway and your comfort counts for a lot. Being comfortable while you work is just as important as the end product in my book. If I ain't comfortable, ain't NOBODY comfortable.
