Wing incision

I am mounting my first goose (canada) and I went through the archives and decided to go with the wing incision. My question is, I have seen differnt ideas on what to fill them with, and was wondering if I could use critter clay or cotton? I saw that some use caulk, but don't want to go that way, and some say apoxy, just unsure what to do. Thankyou Sherry

Sherry, There is little meat in the area of the double bones. (radius and ulna) You can wrap a small amount of cotton there and rebuild the Humerous that is where the bulk of the meat was. Use tow or cotton for that. If you are doing the bird flying I would not cut under the wing.
Good Luck
Tony

Thanks Tony

I'll give the cotton a try.
