i was turning ears to day and when i was doing tail the skin ripped in two so i got two pieces of tail and on ears i cant turn the rest of one without tearing it in half how can i fix this its a fox too can i go on to mount him or is he in too bad of shape .

Redneck, I think it's still doable. The ear can be a challenge but you can open it by being patient and very careful. I have opened them to the end using the point of a large needle to scratch the tissue and seperate the ear. The fox ear is a little too fragile to force open if it is a little dried out but careful cutting will work.If that ear is too dry then you can sometimes inject a little water with needle and syringe into the area you want to open and soften it right up. As for the tail I would mount the fox with it's "half-tail" and then add the end of the tail to the mount. Slide the tail piece into proper position and bond it in the broken area with a little super glue. Enjoy, Aaron H.
