cleaning an airbrush

Submitted by CodyB on 08/03/2002. ( )

I was thinking about my Paasche VL airbrush today and would like some input on how you guys clean them after painting with lacquer paints. In the past I have ran thinner through the brush until it came out clear and did the thing with putting your finger over the front. I would be very interested in hearing how you clean your airbursh. Thanks for help.

I used to use a Paasche . Disassemble the brush ,soak the parts in acetone for a few minutes. use a qtip or small acid brush to scrub stubborn spots. wipe clean and reassemble .
