I am concerned after reading your post about antelope. I think I have not been shaving mine tin enough. It has not been easy to find out the axact thickness of a popcorn fart, but after laying out two panfuls of popcorn , popped and unpopped, (cuz you didn't say) and waiting and listening patiently, i managed to measure one. I think I missed several others because they were to fast. One popcorn fart, or a PF unit, is about .0006 inch. At least that is what I got.
My speed goat hides are about 100 times thicker than that. Am i doing something wrong?
I think if i rub on some other spices like garlic, rosemary and baysil then people will think of food and may not notice the antelope smell.
Have you tried that? just wondered.

I've noticed the PF Unit varies depending on the amount of butter in the popcorn.
Just when you think you've heard it all, there goes the neighborhood. .006 sounds about right, I'd guess.
