Deer hair problem.

recentley mounted a deer withe the dry preserve methode, Now have bag smell at the brisket area with some hair falling out. Will this eventually go away when completly dry or not.

Turn the mount upside down.

What you have is body fluids pooling in the brisket. The law of Levedity allows the blood and fluids to drain to the lowest point.

Now we cannot tell how bad your problem is over the internet. I would turn the mount upside down and put a fan blowing on the brsket area, then pray for the best.

If you do have some fluids in there, it is best to get it out rather than re-distribute it by turning it upside down. Poke a small hole in that area and see if some fluid drains out.

get the juices flowing. Make a couple of small slits with a scaple and put the fans to her. Now pray.
