Hi, how could I get the odor smell off from the bear mount, ok, i tell story short,every steps I followed (fleshing, washing+ dawn detergen, degreaseing,pickle, and tanning)each step I rinse good, except after tanning, I oiling right after the bear hide off from the tanning solution( about 30 mins dip dry)I forgot rinse again after tanning, so I suspect this minor odor sustain because of this?!What expert here could give me some tips to get the smell off (just minor smell,but I want it totally off)Thanks.

Since were not really sure what is causing this smell it may be many things that are causing it.
You can take the bear outside and wash it with a good shampoo (pert) and then rinse and dry it with the air hose. If in the hair this will improve the smell. If you have a rancid smell it won't do a thing for you.
