only for yourself, and still need to get a permit

High rick, I was told by one officer that anyhing I did had to stay at my home, but you can call game commission at the huntindon location. At one time you could do it for cost, but then there is no way for the game comission to prove that is what you doing. Call the game commission at huntingdon to comfirm Icouldn't find my permit papers to confim this. I only did my own stuff and didn't worry about it. No matter if it is a hobby or not you will need a to get a permit. If for some reason you would get turned in, found out, or anything the the game warden would come and check you out, an no permit, they can, will, and I've seen it done, take all specimens away, yours, friends or whomever, and not return them and give you a nice present, fines. You can buy hides but you need a taxidermy permit in PA to do so, If you need some hides, post you phone number or post phone number needed and I'll post mine. I can also buy green hides for what they cost, then tan them for $30.00, includes salting fleshing, and oil., then if you would like them to be done and ready to mounting, no finish work needed and extra $35.00. And they are shaved thing and ready to mount. I used to go around to butchers, other hunters and friends and get hides for free to start with. Goodluck

PA never insulted Mr. Gaither!

Dear Mr. toyracerman (This is the only ISP to match yours), I do not believe that PA insulted Mr. Gaither in any way. Using the name PA would not be appropriate though since it has been used with regularity for some time now. Penna would be open to use though, since you and PA reside in the same state.

I have it on good authority that PA was just inflecting some humor into these forums, but I may be mistaken. He does seem to be a colorful guy.
