Hi, friend of mind gave me 4 bear feet, which is already salted and open to last bone, now I want pull the claws out and make a necklace, how I could pull it all out and what suggestions or method to put it together to make a necklace. Thanks advance.anna

Just cut the fascia that attaches the skin to the claws and remove. You can soak in a mixture of 1/4 borax, 1/4 cup Dawn detergent and two gallons of water until the skin softens and makes the job easier.
You can drill the claws for stringing, or you can buy crown bezels from suppliers like Rio Grande to seat the claws. Rio also sells a wide variety of traditional beads at low prices if you wish to make an authenic Indian necklace.
