repo antlers

I bought a set of repo antlers, and antler stain #2. I was wondering if there is any information on a website or anywhere about staining them. I started staining them but that is exactly how they are looking, like "somebody" stained them

If you are using a quality stain ,all you need is 2 to 3 coats.Leting the 2 and 3 coats dry completly. Then take a fine steel wool and rubing out the tinse and the tips ,Lightly rub the main shafs and beems with it I MEAN LIGHTLY.Then take and apply 2 coats of clear sealer ,letting each coat dry completly. (This should help)
