Hello Paul:
I can't remember the name of the stuff I used but they are probably
all alike anyway. Try some pet shampoo the dry shampoo kind in a spray can.
Good Luck.

Maybe

You might want to cover it with baby powder and then let it sit on it for a few days. After a couple of days use a air compressor and blow out. Yes, you might not be able to get all of it out but it will smell better. Bear might look like he has dandruff for a little while but it will get rid of the smell. If you do this let me know how it worked for you. Good Luck, Dan Hudzik

If it isn't wet...

I'd bet it won't come out....my guess is a improperly degreased hide.

If it smells because your dog has been laying on it or you spilled something on it the pet shampoo might do it.

Wet dog smell for how long?

Run a fan on the bear headm it is still wet and needs to dry out. Sounds like mildew to me. Once dry use FABREEZE to remove the oder.

condition it!

these mounts need to be kept under airconditioning. tell your customer that this will reduce or eliminate a lot of this muskie smell and also avoid insects and mildew.
