Snake skin tanning

Please can someone help with some home mixtures on how to perserve the snake skin? And tips. I am a first timer and need help Please. Urgantly. The skin is on a board at the moment and has salt on. From what I can gather salt is not good and the scales can come loose? What now from here?

First off if youwant to use just home remedies and not the commercila tanning kits, remove the salt, and rinse it clean. Reattach to theboard, and mix Denatured alcohol, and Glycerin( hand cream aisle of the supermarket) together in a ratio of 1/1. Brush it on the meat side once a day for about four days. skin will remain pliable and soft
