I think we're already experiencing the effects of global warming with the diminished mental capabilities of people like you. In case you haven't read anything other than the Washington Post and the New York Times lately, your friends at the Global Warming Center don't want to admit that their vaunted computer had forecast the South Pole atmospheric temperature above 5,000 feet to be EIGHTY DEGREES WARMER THAN ACTUAL TEMPERATURES recorded there by weather balloons.
And just HOW is Canada going to have more taxidermists? They've just about completely outlawed guns there already. The only hopes are that the black bear and grizzly populations explode to a point they start eating those liberal politicians who are embracing the Europeon attitude of animal rights. GO GRIZZLIES!

Sorry to inform you, but Global Warming is nothing but a made up scare tactic used by liberal groups to help convince gullible people to accept the useless and destructive laws they want to cram down everybodies throats. It is not based on science or even logic. If you spend the time and do the research you will also find there is no data to back up their claims and all they have is conflicting numbers and speculative theories at best. The real truth is simply that Global warming is a complete sham.

We here in Canada have not all but completeley outlawed guns.. geez holy overdo it - hehe =) I still dont see why so many hunters are opposed to our gun registration laws here. All we have done is make sure that every gun is registerred - thats all. Some ppl find it insulting as tho the government is saying that hunters legal guns are the ones being used for crimes. Although this is NOT true as most crime guns are illegally acquired - the insult remains tying hunters to criminals. Beyond the insult I dont see a problem, if yer not comitting a crime - what does it matter if the governament knows what guns ya have? you register yer vehicles without complaint - I REALLY don't see a difference. I have guns, and can get more anytime I want. I have the new "posession and acquisition license" (PAL) allowing me to purchase all the long guns (rifles and shotguns) I want. I am planning on going for my "restricted license" as well allowing me to have handguns. And we certainly do NOT have a Europen view towards animal rights ROTFLMAO! There is ONE problem we are having now and that is regarding the spring bear hunt in Ontario which was cancelled by pressure from an activist group; the International Fund for Animal Welfare. This is still being largely contested by the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH), and the tide MAY be changing. Further proof that we do not have an anmimal rights mentality is the recently enacted Heritage Hunting and Fishing Act passed in Ontario just a couple of months ago - guaranteeing the rights of Ontarians to continue hunting and fishing. We now have LAWS to get antis off our backs - that is NOT animal rights mentality =) Hunting and angling IS on a decline however - I'll give ya that. This is largely in part due to the fact that the majourit of our population lies within 2 hours of the US border and this thin band of area is being RAPIDLY developed across Canada. This means less places to go out shooting and hunting so less youth are becoming involved. In more northern rural locales.. hunting is still strong. K - thats all - jsut thought Id take a moment to set the record straight about whats really goin on here in Canada and to try and stop the hype =) As for the global warming thing? When sum1 does a study on the corolation between taxidermist number in Canada and global warming - I'll not waste my time responding ;)
Now you can't even believe that tired, overused politicobabble that you're using. It's a money making scheme to make gun owners/hunters PAY to have a gun if they insist on being so barbaric. We come to Canada and spend thousands of dollars, but the Canadian PM ain't getting any in HIS pockets. The "alien, non-resident" (Damn, I feel like ET already) is too little and it's direct to the wildlife ministries. SO, wham, bam, thankyou ma'am, we institute a program where ALL Americans are stopped after having filled reams of paperwork giving our bloodtype and ancestry PLUS $50 to get the gun in along with us. Then they use OUR NCIS computer to run a check on us. If we're lilly white, they check the vehicle for NRA decals so they can strip the car. If we've run a stoplight in the last 6 months or gotten 32 parking tickets in the last year, we're declared "persona non grata" and told to leave. HOWEVER, if you're child molester, mass murderer, or thief, for the small token of $200, you will allow these people to visit your fair country so that all those good American greenbacks can stay over on that side of the line. A recent incident by one of my workers had a border patrolman refuse him entry because of a misdemeanor traffic violation 25 years old. When he questioned it, the smart assed Canadian said, "Mister, have you forgotten about 9/11" NOW you want to piss in my Post Toasties. I think some of the terrorist came FROM Canada instead of escaping TO Canada.
Now don't get me wrong. I love visiting Canada and I love most of their people (The lone exceptions being the French speaking Quebeckers that I would pee on if I saw them burning. And I know John, I'm a redneck. Get over it.) but your politics are straight out of the European Union handbook. It ain't gonna get any better for your OR us until you Canadians rise up in mass and overhaul that liberal bunch that never leaves the Ottawa city limits. Good luck.

You guys are paranoid and hillarious all at once! LOL! HOLY read into stuff! Yer making WAY to big a deal over something you really dont know a lot about. On average - I talk to about 100 hunters from the US a year - all within a couple hours of Ottawa. The hunt camp where we have our trailer year round is frequented by MANY US hunters and is close to Ottawa, and none of them have problems at the border. Why? I suspect its becasue they dont have chips on their shoulders about what Canada is like and thus dont end up pissin off border guards? I live right near Niagara Falls - have all my life. Crossing the border - even after 9/11 is NOT a problem at all. I just wish all you guys would back off with what you THINK you know -and let the ppl who live by borders and deal with the laws daily do the talking. Opinions are great, but PLEASE stop passing them off as fact? And all this 'liberal' labelling? Im gettin SO sick of that - it such a strictly US concept. I dont even know how to define a liberal or a conservative - geez. Everythin has to be hardcore labelled as black and white for you.. just relax would ya? Of course we use the terms liberal and conservative here - but it doesnt really mean anythin to us. I've never heard a Canadaian describe themselves as being liberal etc. I asked everyone at work today what they were - no one even knew.. just seems that Americans to put a lot more importance on what political grouping they fall into. In teh US from all Ive seen liberals have a certain way of viewing things across a band if issues, conservatives aother. Canadians tend to waver from issue to issue. So we may be liberal on one topic, conservative on another. To say we are one or the other simply doesnt work here. So to say Canada is a liberal country just doesnt make sense. I was too tired lat night to make any sense - leave me alone ;) OH OH OH!
