Why wouldn't it?

I've done elk, bison, moose, and even a longhorn using JRTS. I shaved the hide thin before applying and let it set overnight before folding the hide and freezing it. A week later, I washed it in warm water with Pre-Soak and mounted it just like any other whitetail.

PREP WORK DONE RIGHT? QUALITY CREAM TANS WORK FINE!

We have used this cream tan for years and never had any problems. We even developed our own "strong" version.--and it works great! The key to using any quality cream tan is skin prep. Is it thin enough? Is it a good skin to begin with? What about the acid pickle? etc... We do prefer Lutan FN however, for capes and small to med lifesize--we can't complain either way. We have used cream tans on just about everything. As long as the "grub" work is done right and you have a good cape, skin, hide to begin with; there should be no problem.

One thing to keep in mind is that regardless of what you try to do and how good you do it, THINGS GO WRONG! Just keep plugging away and keep a positive mental attitude!
