Need help with ears of a w/t. I plan on using earliners and the video show the bondo method, But i plan on using the earliners so how do you remove the cartlide from the ear ? Do you still cut the ear off at the base and then seperate the cartlide and then cut it off at the very tip of the ear? I have no idea, But any help would be help.

Look in a McKenzie Catalog. Where they have the earliners, is one way of removing cartilage. I use this way on most whitetails with average size ears. On odd sized ears, I remove the cartilage in one piece for a pattern. It does take practice not to put any holes in the ear.
