I would like to get an airbrush. What is a good brand for a Beginner? I have a WASCO cat.. I would rather not invest alot, on something to get started with.

A Paashe H you can get them for 43 bucks a very basic single action airbrush.

A Paashe VL would be a better airbrush being double action but capable of single too.

You'll probably get alot of opinions but that is what I started with and seem to have no problems with them. You'll need a gloss gun for broader area spraying too, they vary in price also. Check WASCO out, but I saw the VL as a set with all three tips for $79 at www, dixieart.com you can order the extra fine tip also. not a bad price.

I wish I would have started with the VL and saved the $43 to use toward my gloss gun.

You'll also need a compressor and a moisture trap and regulator.

If your spraying lacquer a good charcol filter respirator is needed if your spraying water based paint you should still weara respirator to keep the paint particle out of your lungs.

worked out OK for me .It came with # 3 tip for general stuff, and you can easily get the parts for #5 and #1 tips. Should last a lifetime.
