Freezing a cape

Can anyone tell me how long you can leave a cape in the freezer that is not tanned.

If its wrapped up good to not allow freezer burn it can last for years.

I have had some problems with freezer burn on birds befor but now i have a bear in the freezer for 2 years now and I will have to pull it out to see if it is still good. I hope so. Thanks

Alot of inexerienced taxi, wanna bes tell that if something is freezer burned its ruined. This is alomst totally wrong 95% of the time. Dp your self a favor or some softening agent from Rittels before you start. THen you can inject any FBed areas as you and split them out drain and salt the hide very well, no pooling of fluids should be allowed.
