Now that I'm in big trouble what do you suggest? Should I go ahead and put it on the manikin and then try to clean the hair with some acetone or something? It's not slipping real bad but some. I think I can get it on the manikin without damaging to much more. I've gone to far to stop now.

I hate to tell you, but I have a bad feeling about this one and wouldn't be surprised if it's a lost cause. I know you don't want to hear that, but there's few other ways to say it. You can try washing it in denature alcohol in the hope that this will remove the grease and lock in some of the hair. Dry it by putting it in an old washing machine on spin cycle and then carefully mount it damp. Let it dry for a few days naturally before you get fancy and blow dry it and place it where it gets LOTS of ventilation. Don't you breathe the denatured alcohol either or you'll be in a fix as well. Good luck.
