Hi all,
I'm just getting started, and trying to decide which airbrush to buy. Someone offered to sell me a "blue point" pretty cheap, but I've never heard of it. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks,
~ Mandy

I am not sure about the airbrush, but, being a mechanic also,I have several Blue Point air tools. They are a line of Snap On tools and are usually very expensive and are well worth the money.Maybe someone else knows if that airbrush would be the same Blue Point. But as always, buyer beware.
same as a badger but put out by snap-on
I also just got started, I got a pachel vl from dixie art supply. I have only painted one fish to date, but was very happy with it and the price was quite reasonable. Dixie art supply carries all the brand name sprayers, and the prices are better than anywhere else. Good luck
Dave was right on best price on a Paasshe VL is at www.dixieart.com
Thank you for your help!

I have 2 used Paasche VL's that I put away and bought an Aztek kit -it does much better at the fine lines and detail work ,plus no sputtering and spitting like the Paasche did. Fewer parts to bend(needles)and worry about changing to get the right line size.Just change the tip and keep painting. Its tough to beat for the money.
Check out web page (www.bpesoultions.com/teched.html). They are the makers of the airbrush you want to buy. Bought a used airbrush and it works ok as long as you dilute the paint.
