Absolutely, positively tanned

It's just easier on all fronts. Have it done commercially where it can be shaved down from its inch thick hide to a workable thickness and combed out if possible. I know East Coast will comb them at an extra charge. Old Dominion tannery includes the combing in their charge. I'm not sure about the others.

I Don't Know, George

I think that it would be kind of interesting to see some before and after pictures of a DP buffalo mount.

Go with the wet tan!

Go with the wet tan. It is the best by far. Just keep frozen until ready to mount!

Dp'ed will be fine!

Well for a few days until the hair slips. Why worry about the hair being combed out? Its not natural! It should be ragged, dirty and smelling like *&^% to be a good mount.

Lets see dped you should get about $350.00 or tanned and combed out $1750.00 (oh, you may need help to lift anf fit the skin.)
