Are there any special precautions to take with the antlers when boiling the skull-plate for a Pronghorn antler mount?

First of all, Pronghorn Antelope don't have antlers. They have horns. I'm not going to go all the way to explain this. But antlers are bone, as a matter of fact the fastest growing bone known. Horns are hollow, and have to be removed, and the core cleaned. There's a multitude of ways to remove them, and everyone has there own way of doing it. Check the search button to the right, and punch in How to remove antelope horns.

Pronghorn antelopes have horns not antlers that means they are hollow and made of harden hair like rams and cows, you need to remove this outer sheath ,when you do you will have a skull that will have short bones on it ,looks kinda like a devil
