Tan or Dry pres.

i have been doing a lot of reading on the pros and cons of both methods.i have read that tanning is the best but dp would be better if you live in a humid climate if anyone you has experience could help me decide it would be a great help to me from most of the talk here i know this is a hot topic so help me if you can

DP vs. TAN

That will probably remain a hot issue. I don't think there is one
perfect answer. Myself I use both and have had no problems either way.
I suppose the best thing to do is try both methods, both on large and
small game and then use what you like best. I still use both, most of the
time I tan "deer/bear" and most of the time on small game I use DP.
I sure hope you didn't start a fight here.....LOL

Jill, Click on "The Taxidermy Industry" and scroll to the bottom. Click on 2001 and go to 9/6/01 and read "Wet Tan, Dry Tan, Dry Preservative". That may help.
