I have read a few messages about artifical bear claws used to replace and repair mounts and rugs. I have not been able to find a taxidermy supplier which sells the claw core & nail cover or the bezels & crowns for claws. A previous message mentioned Research Mannikens, Van Dykes, Rio Grand, Navaho, and Thunderbird taxidermy supply as sources. So far I havent been able to locate these suppliers or the claws in question. Can anybody stear me in the right direction? Thanks

Thanks Old Fart, Van Dykes does carry a 2-1/2" black bear claw but I was looking for the claw cores and nail covers. Research Mannikens web page is dead but I'll try calling them. Any one else?
