I have a couple of capes that I am having trouble getting the measurements to match up with the forms. In both cases if I order a size smaller in the eye to nose measurement the neck measurements will be correct. (7 3/4" to 7 1/2" and 7" to 6 3/4") If I do this will it cause problems when trying to adjust the cape to the face of the form? Thank you, Jim

I generally order a form to match the neck measurement and adjust the face meas. only if its outside a 1/4 inch either way of the mannikins face meas.The skin in the face can either be stretched a tad or made smaller by this amount. If you try to stretch the face bigger(like 1/2 over)it may very well mess up other measurements and give you BIG problems while drying or sewing.
