Can anyone tell me how to measure flex eyes for fish? Every time I order them they never fit.

I have been using them since they came out and have never had a problem.When are you measuring the eyes? If you measure the eye socket priorto skinning, you are going to get some shrinkage of the eye socket if not refiled properly prior to drying. If the dry eye socket measures 15mm, order a 14mm, so you can rebuild the capsule around the eye. If you measure a wet14MM before skinning, you are probably trying to fit a 14mm eye into a 12 or 13mm socket after shrink, if not rebuilt properly.

I always over order fish eyes and get many different sizes, with the 18 mm being the most used eye. Then you will always have the proper size on hand. Ron
