caribou antlers

How far up the antlers do you drill ,from the skull plate.This is my first caribou and it a big one.Also who has got some real good reffrence, i can't seem to find any Thanks Tom

Drill?

Why do you want to drill up from the skull plate? That means you would be drilling the horns. Why do you want to do that?
