Ive only mounted a couple of deer and have always used rhinehart deer forms wiith the eyes already set for you and they seem to work outt just fine but i would like to try setting my own eyes on different forms so im not stuck with just ther forms is it very difficult or have you guys got some pointers/.materials that work best ect..Good book on this?

I would HIGHLY recomend for you as well as everyone else to purchase the Breakthrough Deer Mounting Manual.
Most all the suppliers carry them and will show you step by step all that you'll need to know.

......also use a close up reference photo(s)of a deer eye and make your clay work show the detail of the live deer eyes. You'll be much happier with the end result than the pre-set eyes. You can change the expression/eye rotation giving your mount a more life like look. Practice and good reference material are the key. Good Luck, Kent
