finish eyes and nose on otter

Just mounted an otter which is one of my first mounts 2 days ago home pickled and tanned it myself took my time split tail and skinned to last knuckle on feet,mount looks awsome I know theres some finish work that needs to be done,what should I do with the corners of eyes and give the nose the wet look.I used makenzie ot-1 form I also seem to have a little extra hide under the front two legs in the webbing I heard of a relief cut should of been made any info on that also would be appreciated thanks to anyone who could help.

Too late for relief cuts now !

As Superpig pointed out a while ago, you need to test fit your skin and make these cuts before the glue goes on. If you are talking about this being a test fit than your fine, and you can make your cuts in the armpits where they would naturally be. As far as finishing goes----use good references of LIVE otter photos and for wetting the eyes you can use 5 min. epoxie or clear gloss nail polish , just be careful to only get it where you want it otherwise you will wish you never even tried it!.
