Does anyone have any suggestions how to effectivly remove a cats brain before freezedrying?

I Am also looking for a supplier for cat eyes.

But I guess a .22 magnum would work. Either Van Dykes Glass House or Tohickon will have the eyes you're looking for.


cat brain removal

Just wanted to let you know that we probably do around 50 domestic cats per year and have never removed the brain before freeze drying.
We are Aews in Slater Mo. We have talked about the process several times but believe it is not necessary. We do about 300 fawns also and never remoove the brain. I have heard the argument that the brain is fatty mass and must be removed. In our case we have excellent result without removal of the brain. If you are worried you could use an ice pick to vent the brain cavity. Just my thoughts hope this helps. Now for a supplier of cat eyes, we use Van Dykes and they custom make them for us. Theresa is the one to talk to about custom eyes. You will have to supply them with close up photos of the eye that you want. They have done excellent work for us! Again I hope this will help.
