I just finished sewing my first sqirrel and WOW,WOW,WOW, I almost pulled my hair out. After i got through i got to looking and thought that i might have been able to glue the skin to the form instead of sewing since it was a climbing down mount and the cut was a belly cut starting about half way down the chest to the back legs.the sewing seam doent show so i would think it would be ok to glue. Is this a big no-no or what?

if the seam is going to behidden anyway because of the pose why not glue it. If it works for you why not. I would not recommend it on larger mammals or on poses where the seem would be on a visible side of the animal. I heard of some taxis who staple their seem if it is going to be hidden due to the pose.
I bet the 2 part Epo-Grip would do the job fine. I have a short Y cut deer I glued shut no sewing no pins to see if it would do the job and so far its worked great.
Thanks for the info guys,I didnt put my name the first time {scared of getting ripped}lol

If you do your homework first,( that is check the archives,) then ask your question you really have nothing that any of these guys to smash you with. If you stay humble, and ask your questions, not run your
gator or spell incorectly on purpose you will be fine. This site has been a great asset for myself and I am sure to countless others.
Don't let a few bad seeds change your image of it. Post your name don't hide like alot of these so called experts. Chances are they can't even change pickling baths. Have a good day if you want to or not.
Try skinning it cased out or tubed.Very little sewing and you can mount in any position and hide the seam. I have never glued a seam in a squirrel, but anything is worth a try once. Good luck.
glue and use bankers pins (vandydkes) alog edges and it will stay
