This is a taxidermy related post. Sorry.
To you beginners:
I put free taxidermy reference photos on the free down-load page of the Whitetail Designer Systems web site www.whitetailsystems.com on an irregular basis. This is "Last call" for the current photo. It is a photo of a fox squirrel. Many that come here have no doubt already down-loaded this one.
Trying to work without reference material is a big mistake. Build a reference collection before you even start, and study your material. If you have freezer room, frozen specimens can help a lot. Reference casts are available through all the supply companies if you don't feel like you are ready to make your own. If you have access to live animals for study, that has to be number one on the list for quality reference material.
A good reference collection will be an inexpensive education and one of your most important taxidermy tools.
