Blood stains in fur

I was just wondering how I can easily remove blood stains in furs.
Any help is very much appreciated.

Most mild detergents will do a good job. I find it very rare to have a serioous stain not easily come out with the use of any of these products. Such as "blood out" and blood eater" they work equally well if not just a little better than regular dawn dish soap or WASCO skin prep.

ammonia and a cotton swab has works wonders. i have used it for over 30 yrs.

I use Safty Solvent from Van Dykes mixed with Lysol Consentrate to kill any bacteria.


Oxyclean

I been using Oxyclean in my laundry for sometime to get out blood stains. And lo and behold it works just as good on hides! :-)~ Kim


Getting Blood out

Peroxide will denature the blood and allow you to just rinse it out...but OxyClean works on the same principle.
