i am pickling my first grey fox, the entire skin is loaded with grease.so much that after being in the pickle all day ,it's not even turning a LITTLE white. should i have degreased before the pickle,or wait till after the pickle. thanks bob m.

You can rinse it out and put it back into the pickle for a few more days. They tan up very good.
Pickle the fox for three days take out flesh, degrease and repickle.
