I am just starting out in the taxidermy field I don't really know too much about it yet but I have been reading up on it. I was just wondering if there was anyone in the Sandy Creek, Ny area that would be willing to possible help me out with some questions and some hands on demonstrations of mounting fish, etc... to get me started.

You can try Larry Klingerman about 40 miles north of you, or if you go up 13 into pulaski, there is about 30 taxidermist in tyhat area, someone should be receptive to the idea
