Send for a WASCO catalog and they have beginers guides to bird taxidermy....$3.95. I just started doing taxidermy about a year ago, and bought their book. I always wanted to try taxidermy, mostly waterfowl too. This book is fantastic, it will take you by the hand and walk you through every step. I've done several ducks, pheasants,quail,and geese. there is nothing like the satisfaction of doing your own birds. One thing i've found out is, practice is everything!
