I have (over) tanned a deer cape and everything but the face is usable. The face is very stiff and inside out...is there anyway I can recover this project? Are there any oils that would work? I have tried different ratios of Rittel's Pro-Plus oil.

What were your steps on doing this and was the cape ever shaved down?
