I just received a bluegill fish replica to be painted. The fins have to be attached, gill plate cut out , eyes cut out, new ones placed in the sockets. How do I do all of this? I have mounted and painted bluegill before, but not worked on replicas like this.
What type of glue do I use to fix the side fins on the fish. What about sanding the finishing looks to the replica? Oh Boy, I guess I may have asked too much.
Please any info would be appreciated.

get a grinder wheel to go on electric grinder and it WILL make short order of the work that needs to be done - attach fins with bondo and any knicks from blade use epozy clay or whatever - it is really very simple to do all of this - dont get hung up on the details
prime b4 painting - grinder wheel is like blade that goes on a circular saw - after i have ground and finished e'thing b4 priming i touch up any 'lumps' and then wipe fish with clean towel
