My 7 year old daughter wants to make a skeletal mount of a chicken.
I have not done this before. Need help from beginning to end of project. Any advice/resources would be appreciated. If chicken is not the best choice another small animal might be a possibility.

rats, they r cheap, and easy to skin and ur doin the world a favor buy gettin rid of one of em. first to kill the thang either snap his neck (hold the head with one hand and the neck w/ the other and twist FAST and HARD or hold the head and jerk the tail HARD. er u could drown him (not the most pleasent thang to watch) put him in a plastic carrier thang with a lid on it tha he cant git thru cuz they can swim FILL UP the bath tub put that box in it and make sure that it is completley submerged u might wanna put some big rox on top to make sure then leave the room come back maybe ohhh id say 10-30 minutes lata wwhen hes good and dead and then u wont have to watch him, chickens and rats r about the same price, 4 bux a piece rats u buy thru a pet store and chickens thru ur local newspaper classifides. to kill a chicken get some wire and wrap around its neck and sufocate it or do the twist method or u can cut off his head.
