First off your fox shouldn't be in a degreaser till you pickle it and it should be in there for no longer than 30 min.
Pickle, shave, degrease, repickle, neturlize, tan, this is the steps you need to take.
Please E-mail me asI will not be returning to this site. I want to know what is the
best way (or cheapest if it works well) to preserve the skins or rabbits mainly but
other animals also. I am just a girl with a dream and my boyfriend and his family are
BIG hunters and they have allot of mounted animals but usually disguard rabbit
skins! I figured this is a big waste and I would like to preserve the skins and make
a few things from them such as my first idea (will take allot of rabbits but the result
would be remarkible!) a rabbit fur quilt. I am way into quilting and animals and I
figure it's a good combo! Please E-mail me at Krystal19_85@yahoo.com if you can
tell me an easy, cheap, effective way to preserve these skins. Thank you so much!
