I have a streched and air dried Fishecat Hide that I want to tan with LUTAN F do I have to salt it?

If it's airt dried there's no need for it. You will rehydrate it in either a salt brine or my favoite is ultra-soft from Rittel's and water. Don't use any bacteriacide with the ultra-soft.
