Does anyone use chopped fiberglass with bondo for boar ears?

I use earliners for whitetails but would like to try bondo on this wild boar? I've heard the fiberglass chop makes the bondo extra strong. Also, would I have to fill the ears to the butts with bondo?

Yes, cut fiberglass makes then real strong.

I have done a few hogs over the years, I have cut fiberglass for the bondo and I ad a bit more resin too. Go over the ear canal and use clay for the ear butts.

Bad thing is the fleshy areas of the lower ear they will shrink up badly unles you inject them with a 2 part injectable urethane.

By all means use the fiberglass chop. Make sure to clean the ears well with laquar thinner to assure good adhesion. If the ears are open all the way to the edge there is no need to inject them with anything. On boars you will need to go about 1/2 inch beyond the edge of the cartilage on the lower lobe.Feel the edge of the ear, roll it between your fingers,if its not open all the way you can feel it while the ear is inverted
