We just killed 2 rabbits & my mom wants to keeps the hides.She has them soaking in a bucket,but she needs to know what chemicals are needed to make the "brine"(is that right?)to make them soft.If anyone knows what I can do,please email me or post somethin.THANX

First get them dry asap! Then you need to clean most of the fat of them and salt them asap. While they are salting you need to get info on tanning. Click on the search button and type tanning.

tan
oil
liqua tan would work good for this
