ive been using acetone now for years for cleaning my airbrushes. i use water based paints and ive never been real satisfied with the way the clean up goes with acetone. does anyone know of any solvents that might work better?

Try windex or any other quality window cleaner. Works great.

Moat art stores or your beauty supply house carries these paints. They have a great paint cleaner that works good on either cleaning your brush out or thin it for your paint thinning.
