I have several coyote hides tanning in a sulfuric acid solution and was wondering how to turn the ears to get the cartlidge out any help would be appreciated.

Pickling maybe, sulfuric acid i s not a tan.
Chris, those ears should have been turned and salted with the rest of the prep work before the pickleing is done. If you have them in the pickle now it may be to late, they may slip. Pull one out let it drain and try to turn them see what happens, when you turn them place back in pickle for a day or two. Pickle is acidic so ware gloves.

And in the direct sense I know its not tanning. But neither are the alum based tanning methods they are actually "tawing" You only tan a hide when yoo use tannic acid. Still none of these post has helped

You guys are no help. I can overlook someone not being "nice" in their response or off subject but u guys are ridicolous John C made a valid point and I thank him. But for everyone to take my post to talk about his response is silly I think yall just dont know how LOL anyway Im only going to check this a couple more times because I bet I can find out somewhere else alot quicker.
