In most cases it is not necessary to replace a wing. If it is torn up where all the primary and secondary feathers are broken a wing can be fairly easily replaced. If you choose to replace the wing the key would be to cut in exactly the same place on both wings. Under the scaps is a good place to start and go on around the wing. start to stitch in a spot you are sure is correct on the wing and the body. If you put several single stitches around the wing you can sew it up between the stitches.
Good Luck
