I am a beginner and have done a few mammals and I am getting ready to do some birds. Is the borax you buy from the supply catalogs the same as the borax soap you can buy in the stores?

in some what i use the borax called mule team from
wal-mart, IHAVE MOUNT'S FROM 10 YEAR'S OLD AND THEY ARE IN TERRIFFIC

Twenty Mule team borax. There should also be instructions in the back telling you what it can be used for.
It can be added to your laundry to brighten clothes

"20-Mule Team BORAX"...(NOT "Boraxo' Soap powder)...on sale at all grocery stores...same as supply catalogs sell..been using it for 60-years.
I use to buy borax but why pay extra s&h when you can buy in store..any store in North America supplies are expensive has it is.Even wire can be bought in dept store in rolls..they probably do not have for small birds thou you will have too buy from WASCO
